Hi, I'm Sharon – the Granny behind the gifts!

I’m Sharon, the maker behind gifts by Granny, creating thoughtful handmade gifts and home décor from my studio in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

Whether you're searching for a practical storage basket, a thoughtful gift or something to make your home feel a little more special, I'm so pleased you've found your way here.

Where it all began

My love of crafting started when my great-grandmother taught me to knit at just seven years old. Four generations later, those same traditional skills continue to inspire everything I make.

In 2023, I finally turned my lifelong yarn obsession into gifts by Granny. What started with crochet and knitting has grown into a collection of crochet storage baskets, nursery accessories, plant pot covers and thoughtful gifts designed to be used every day.

As a Granny to 12 wonderful grandchildren, I know first-hand that the things we fill our homes with need to be both beautiful and practical.

  • On caravanning adventures with my husband Paul (the yarn always comes too!)
